Biografie ragionate. Filosofi medioevali e moderni

The Niccolò Braucci State High School of Caivano (Na) was established in the school year 1999-2000. In 2008, the high school became independent and in May 2009 it was named after "Niccolò Braucci", a doctor and naturalist from Caivano.
The educational offer has been enriched over time with the liceos cientific, liceo scienze umane and liceo linguistico addresses.
The school is located in the historic monumental complex of Convento dei Cappuccini, in Piazza Plebiscito, and consists of 47 classes for a total of over 1100 students.
Niccolò Braucci, since 2010, is directed by prof. Giovanni La Montagna and assumed, for the various institutional activities and enrichment of the educational offer, a connotation of territorial excellence.
Class IV, section Fs, scientific address, author of this booklet, is composed of 18 students who actively participate in the curricular and extracurricular initiatives proposed by the Lyceum, as well as they are used to cultivate, in their free time, various interests, in particular reading, dancing, music , drawing, sport.
Biographies Reasoned, medieval and modern philosophers is a small volume written by the 4F class of the scientific high school "Niccolò Braucci", curated by Prof. Tina Mansueto.
The book consists of four chapters, the first of which is dedicated to the biographies of the major philosophers of the medieval and humanistic-Renaissance, the second to the philosophers of the seventeenth century, the third to the illuminists, the fourth to the three main philosophers of German Idealism Ficthe, Schelling and Hegel. The abstract is followed in Italian and Arabic.

Author

Tina Mansueto has worked with the archeological superintendence of Naples, Caserta and Pompei. She was a Latin literature espert at University Suor Orsola Benincasa in Naples. For the University of Naples Federico II she published ‘Itinerari giubilari del 2000’ (Sant’Agata dei Goti e Sant’Anastasia). Moreover, she cooperates with the Pro Loco of Scalea and di Santa Domenica Talao (CS). She teaches History and Philosophy at high school and wrote many scientific articles, such as:
- Osservazioni sull’Iconografia delle Nereidi, Latinam linguam profiteri, L’Artemide Bovianense, Culti e miti dei Safineis, De utilitate philosophiae. Ha curato per la Regione Campania ‘Casali e Chiese’ (2006).
