Paolo Loffredo, sixth generation of a large family of publishers and booksellers engaged in the production and distribution of books since the late nineteenth century, creates in 2012 the new editorial company Paolo Loffredo Editore. Verità gridate

The present collection of thoughts is divided into two parts. The first concerns feelings and feelings of my adolescence, a period that does not always offer joy and lightheartedness, but often gives moments of disappointment and bitterness, always obviously inserted in the gracefulness, lightness and simplicity typical of early youth. This part ends with a little poem dedicated to my classmates and read during our party of the Mac P 100, and with verses, written many years later, dedicated to my then boyfriend, now my husband for forty-seven years. I was born in one of the most beautiful streets of Vomero and Naples: Via Palizzi, a gem of the Santarella district, and from my house I enjoyed for many years the most complete and evocative panorama of my city that I loved then and that I still love immensely and that inspired my first composition. I'm not a daughter of so-called "true" Neapolitans, on the contrary my family has Nordic origins, so we never talked about in Neapolitan at home; yet at that time inspiration inspired me to write in dialect. I have always wondered why, but the only logical answer I gave myself was the admiration that I have always had for the people of my city who, despite all the faults, still remains genuine and fantastically laborious. This is why I have never denied the production of those years, so much so that I decided to introduce it in this collection.
